Suresh Khanderao Chavhanke a man of media, was born on 18th February 1972 in a small
tow n ca lled Pangri in Distt. Nasik of Maharahstra State. His father's name is Khanderao
Ganp atrao Chavhanke. Suresh Ji is heading his own network of offices all over
the Country and Abroad.
Suresh Ji did his graduation {B.A.(H)Geography} from Sat Guru Gangagiri Maharaj College,
Kopargoan affiliated to Pune University, Maharashtra. After completing his graduation, he
took admission in LL.B and Labour Law, did Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communi-
cation. As regards to his professional career, he started his career as a News Reporter
in 1992. Where he covered the entire Social, Spiritual, Political, and Sports sectors.
In 1996, he started his own business in the name of Sai Telecom which is one of the major
distributors for Satellite Phones & Wireless. This company had achieved a great success in
this field. Besides this, he is Editor in chief of www.batmi.com, which is the first Marathi web
Journal in Maharashtra. He is holding same post with www.batmi.com since 1998 till date.
Presently, he is the Chairman of Sudarshan TV Channel Ltd., India's first Socio National News
Channel based on patriotism.
During his school, college and professional life, he had been active in various social
activities. Beside that he had organized various National and International gatherings,
functions, ceremonies etc. He had also been the organizer of International Spiritual
function "Vishwa Shanti Samaroh" twice in 1996 and 1998 at Ellora Maharashtra in
which around 18 lacs people participated from all over the World for 8 Days. Many
World Famous Spiritual Gurus, Maharaj, Social Workers and Political Leaders were
present on the occasion.
He was given the responsibility of "Organizing" the Mahakumb Mela held in 2003 at
Nasik Maharastra. Besides this, he organized various National functions. He had also
organized spiritual functions like "Ram Sita Dharam Samaroh" at Nasik in 2002 in
which millions of people participated from all the sectors including Social, Spiritual and
Political. He also organized a function "Sant Darshan Samaroh" in Aug 2003
during Kumbh-Mela 2003 in Nasik in which all the Sadhu, Sant, Mahantas from all
Akhadas and thousands of social workers had also participated.
